Booking Terms and Conditions

6. The owners give all information and make all statements in good faith and use their best endeavor to check, as far as is reasonably possible, all information given to applicants. The Owners shall not however, in any event, be liable for any damage or loss resulting from information given or statements made whether orally or in writing.

7. The number of people occupying the cottage must not exceed those booked.

8. The occupier undertakes to keep the premises and all furniture, fixtures, fittings and effects in or on the premises in the same state of repair and condition as the same are in at the commencement of the letting (reasonable wear and tear excepted) and shall pay to the Owners the value of any part of the premises, furniture, fixtures, fittings and effects so destroyed or damaged as to be incapable of being restored to its former condition.

9. Pets are not allowed in the holiday property.

10. The Owners reserve the right to decline accommodation.

11. The cottage is used as holiday accommodation and therefore exempt from security of tenure the rent Act.

1. The owners, shall be under no liability for any act, neglect or default for any loss, damage, expense, accident, injury or inconvenience whether to person or property which the applicant or any other person may suffer or sustain arising out of or in respect of any application or any such letting or otherwise howsoever.

2. A deposit of £70 per week is payable on booking. Cheques payable to ‘S M Gibbs’ . This deposit is returnable if booking is not accepted. The balance of the total rent is due four weeks, before the commencement of the letting period.

3. Upon payment of the deposit and subject to the acceptance of the booking the applicant becomes liable to the balance of the rent for the lull period of the letting.

4. Non payment of the balance of the rent payable in advance as provided above on or before the due date shall be deemed to be a cancellation of the arrangements of the applicant.

5. The owners regret that once the deposit or full rental has been paid they will be unable to refund any moneys and therefore strongly recommend that cancellation insurance policy be taken out with an independent agent.
